The owner and staff were just great, especially with our dogs getting spoiled with sausages! Breakfast was an absolute highlight, we had so many choices that it felt like a feast. I mean, who doesn’t love a good fry up with perfect eggs?

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by various issues. The room was not well-maintained, with dirty cutlery at breakfast and a general lack of cleanliness throughout the premises. the noise levels, especially from outside during early morning hours, made it difficult to rest.

The brekkie was a real treat, freshly cooked and just lekker! My room was super clean and tidy, and the shower was like a lekker pressure boost. The location was quiet but close enough to walk to the harbour, perfect for my boat trip.

Just a heads up, there are stairs, which might catch some people off guard, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.

This place was a commendable fit for a stopover in Ilfracombe with extraordinarily good value for money. The en suite bathroom in our room was spotlessly clean and felt newly decorated. Keep an eye on the dining space. it can get a bit cramped during peak breakfast hours.

the room was a touch hot initially. but the breakfast was simply exceptional. freshly cooked full English and loads of options made mornings delightful. the staff was super friendly, constantly asking if we needed anything.

the sherborne was a delightful stay! the location is just a short stroll from the coast path, making exploring easy. we loved the warm welcome from the staff, especially towards our dogs who were really pampered. breakfast choices were fantastic, with plenty of options to satisfy. it felt like a treat every morning!

Welcomed warmly upon arrival, the staff were very accommodating, particularly with our two dogs who enjoyed their own breakfast. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from the harbor, which made exploring easy. the room had some issues. the toilet had flushing problems and was quite noisy, which could disturb nearby guests. the walls were thin, allowing sounds from the corridor to be quite intrusive during the night.

walking from the lodge was fantastic, with the beach just a few steps away and the harbor only a brisk stroll, making it easy to explore the charming coastal town at my pace.
